Working with AVERA from abroad: samples, minimums, delivery and visits

Buyers in other countries ask us the same questions before a first order. Here are the answers: how a sample works, what the minimum order is, how you get a landed price, how we check quality, which documents travel with the goods and where we deliver today. For anything else, we can talk on a video call from the factory.

How a first order runs

Every first order follows the same steps, and nothing goes into production until you have approved the step before it. To start, send a drawing or spec sheet with your quantity and delivery address. General order minimums are listed in the Ordering note on our programmes page.

  • You send a drawing, spec sheet or product link with the quantity and delivery address
  • Within three working days you receive a landed price: delivered price, packing, lead time and payment terms
  • A sample or test unit can be ordered on its own, as one piece; it is made at cost and credited against your first order
  • Quantities for production orders are confirmed with the landed price
  • The series is built to the approved sample and checked against it before each shipment
  • Export packing, labels and documents, then delivery to your warehouse or site

Video calls, factory visits and samples

AVERA Interiors is a manufacturer with its own factory in Tetovo, North Macedonia, a day's drive from central Europe. We are happy to show you the production on a video call, and you are welcome to visit the factory before you order. The projects page shows furniture we have made and rooms we have designed; client names are not published and are shared on request.

The sample is the real test. You check it, with your own fronts or fabric if your product needs them, and the series is built to the sample you approved in writing.

Questions buyers ask before a first order

Is AVERA a manufacturer or a trading company?
A manufacturer. AVERA Interiors has its own factory in Tetovo, North Macedonia, where your furniture is cut, edged, drilled, assembled, checked and packed for export. Your order is not passed on to anyone else, and you deal directly with the people who make it.
Can we get a sample before we order?
Yes. A sample or test unit can be ordered on its own, as one piece. It is made at cost, and that cost is credited against your first order. You check the sample and approve it in writing, and the series is built to it.
What is your minimum order?
A sample or test unit can be ordered on its own, as one piece. Quantities for production orders depend on the product and are confirmed with your landed price; our general minimums are set out in the Ordering note on the programmes page. Hotel projects are quoted per project from your room list.
How do we get a price?
Send a drawing, spec sheet or product link with your quantity and delivery address. Within three working days you receive a landed price: the unit price delivered to your warehouse or site, packing and labelling, lead time and payment terms. Prices are confirmed after a technical review of the drawings or the sample.
How long does production take?
Lead time depends on the product, the finishes and the quantity. It is stated with your landed price, for the first order and for repeat orders, and confirmed in the written quotation.
Can we visit the factory or see it on a video call?
Both. We are happy to show you the production on a video call, and you are welcome to visit our factory in Tetovo, North Macedonia, a day's drive from central Europe.
Do you already deliver to our country?
We currently export to buyers in Switzerland, Germany, Israel, Poland, Serbia, Albania and Kosovo. We deliver by truck across the EU and the Western Balkans and by container to the UK and the Gulf states. Send your delivery address with the enquiry, and the route, incoterm and transit time are set in the quotation.
Which export documents do you provide?
Export documents are prepared for each shipment and route, including the EUR.1 certificate of origin for EU deliveries. If your market needs anything else, such as a certificate or a named board supplier, tell us at enquiry stage.
How do you check quality?
Dimensions, edges, fittings and finish are checked against the approved sample before each shipment, and you receive photographs of the checks before the goods leave the factory. Repeat orders are built to the same approved sample.
How is the furniture packed for export?
Flat-packed or assembled, whichever suits your logistics. Units are protected with corner guards, stretch film and foam and loaded on pallets or in crates, and every part is labelled. Cartons can carry your brand, SKU and barcode.
Can you make furniture under our own brand?
Yes. We make private-label furniture with your labels and your packaging, from your drawings or a product you already sell. Drawings you supply remain your property and are used only for your orders.
Do you make freestanding furniture or only fitted furniture?
Both. Besides kitchens and wardrobes we make freestanding pieces such as chests of drawers, bedside units, upholstered beds and headboards, desks and TV units. Upholstered beds and headboards can also be made in your own fabric.
Can we see references?
Our projects page shows furniture we have made and rooms we have designed. Client names are not published and are shared on request, and a video call from the factory shows you current production.
Can you plan and price a hotel sample room first?
Yes. For hotels we plan one sample room in 3D free of charge, send a landed price per room, build the sample room for your approval and then roll it out to every room. The steps are described on our hotel sample room page.
How are payment and warranty handled?
Payment is typically a deposit on order confirmation and the balance before shipment. Cabinet furniture is warranted against manufacturing defects for 24 months from delivery, under normal use. Both are set out in the written quotation.
